AFFILIATIONS

Have questions? We’re on it.

Our Tax Aid Plus service is designed to give you professional guidance at an affordable price. Here are answers to common questions about our service and what you can expect.

What if I need help after my consultation is complete?

Your Tax Aid Plus package includes email support for questions about your strategy and up to two IRS form reviews. If you need additional consultations, form reviews beyond the two included, or decide you want full representation, we’ll provide a separate fee quote. Many Tax Aid Plus clients choose to upgrade to full-service representation after seeing their transcript analysis and realizing their case requires more comprehensive support.

How long does the Tax Aid Plus process take?

After you submit your intake form, we'll send your Canopy portal invitation and LMS access within 1-2 business days. We'll file your Form 8821 and retrieve your IRS transcripts, which typically takes the IRS 10-14 business days to process. Once we receive your transcripts, we'll complete your analysis report and resolution guidance letter within 2-3 business days. You can then schedule your 30-minute attorney consultation at your convenience.

How does this differ from full representation?

Tax Aid Plus provides expert transcript analysis, strategic guidance, and educational resources—but you handle all IRS communications, form preparation, and negotiations yourself. Full representation means we file a Power of Attorney, communicate with the IRS on your behalf, prepare all documents, and negotiate your resolution. Tax Aid Plus is $499. Full representation typically starts at $1,500+. You can upgrade anytime.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

We want you to feel confident in your decision to work with us. If things change, Tax Aid Plus offers a straightforward cancellation process. Once we've delivered your transcript analysis report and resolution guidance letter, the fee is earned and non-refundable. If you cancel before we complete the analysis, you'll receive a pro-rata refund based on services not yet provided. Full details are available in our service agreement.

How do I know if I qualify for Tax Aid Plus?

Tax Aid Plus works well if you have IRS debt and want professional analysis at an affordable price but are comfortable handling IRS communications yourself. You should be willing to prepare your own forms, negotiate directly with the IRS, and follow step-by-step guidance. If you're facing complex a tax problem, our full-service representation may be a better fit.

Is there a way I can consult with an attorney?

Yes. Your Tax Aid Plus package includes one 30-minute consultation with a licensed tax attorney. You'll schedule this call at a time convenient for you after receiving your transcript analysis report. During the consultation, you can ask questions about your specific situation, discuss resolution strategies, and get clarity on your best path forward.

IRS RESOLUTION. SIMPLIFIED.

We believe IRS debt resolution should be a pathway to relief, not a source of financial ruin. Founded by a tax attorney who meets people unable to afford representation every day, we’re committed to ensuring that no one has to face the IRS alone.
